My name is Joe Davis and I live in Trussville Alabama with my wife Robyn and son Payton. My love for the outdoors came at an early age, I used to hear all my friends talking about going hunting or fishing with their dads. I wasn’t as lucky; my dad wasn’t around and passed away when I was 10.
One day I met a gentleman that was the president of a hunting club that I was trying to join and as it turned out he treated me like the dad I never knew. Several years later he was diagnosed with ALS and passed a few years after that. His last couple of years he told us we need to find a way to share our passion for the outdoors to reach people that are not as fortunate. So we started putting on special hunts in his last years and he made us promise to continue these hunts after he was gone.
This is the road that led us to USSA and Brigid and for the past several years we have been blessed to take some awesome kids on dream hunts in good old Alabama. I know personally how someone can touch your life with memories that will last a lifetime just sitting by a tree on a cool spring morning listening to a distant gobble or just sitting on a tailgate of a truck passing the time.
Together we can all make a difference in a child’s life.
