Dean Patterson

Oklahoma Representative

Dean was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, in 1960 graduated high school in 1978.  He has two daughters and five grandchildren. After high school, he started working in the electrical field and started his electrical contracting firm in Jan 1996, working on military bases.

His hobbies are hunting, fishing, golfing, & dirt track racing. He fished his 1st BASS tournament in 1986 on the St. Lawrence River and fished the Canadian GM Pro Circuit, during which time he made the pro staff team for ProCraft Boats, Mercury Outboards, Manns Bait Company, Browning Fishing, & Berkley Trilene. Working outdoor shows for his sponsors allowed him to do fishing events for both kids and young adults with special needs, such as casting contests, etc.

Dean said, “I took my 1st child with a life-threatening illness, deer hunting, in 2008 to Western Illinois; I knew then what I was doing when I retired. I met Brigid in May 2011 in St. Louis and attended my 1st Summer Fest that July. I brought my Race Car & crew to the event.”  Dean then served on the USSA Board of Directors for 10 years then became the Oklahoma Representative.

Dean said, “I really enjoy being a part of a wonderful organization such as USSA. I hope to continue being a part of USSA in any capacity; the blessing has been mine.”
