John Plowman

Southern New Mexico Representative

John Plowman, 22, is a Sheriff’s Deputy in southern NM. His father introduced him to hunting at the age of seven when he got his first deer.

John has four sisters and one brother, and the second youngest in the family. He grew up in a family of die-hard hunters, and some of his best memories came from hunting and trapping.

Since 17, he has been helping kids in his community by coaching youth and high school sports teams and providing a positive role model in life and his career. In 2020 he started guiding USSA’s youth deer and elk hunts in his home state.

John said, “I look forward to sharing my hunting experience and making memories with these deserving kids.”
